Nigeria Energy Forum Awards

Engr. Mrs. Akingbagbohun took part in the Nigeria Energy Forum, which brought together engineers, innovators and stakeholders advancing Nigeria’s energy sector. A highlight of the Forum was its Student Innovation Challenge (TIEC 4.0), where a University of Lagos team won the ₦3 million grand prize and the ₦500,000 public vote award for Coolbox, a battery-free, transportable cold-storage system extending the shelf life of produce such as tomatoes and peppers.

She commended the innovation and dedication shown by students from universities and polytechnics across the country, and congratulated Dr. Daniel Adeoye and his team of engineers for their continued commitment to nurturing engineering talent in Nigeria.
